Day 1 (Fri))  US/Taipei
Take international flight bound for Taipei.

Day 2 (SAT)  TAIPEI  
Upon arrival in Taipei, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day for leisure.

Day 3 (SUN)  TAIPEI  (B, D)
This morning you will be picked up from you hotel lobby for a half day seat-in-coach tour in Taipei visiting the Presidential Building ( pass by ), Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Martyrs’ Shrine, the Traditional Taiwanese Temple and the National Palace Museum and the Handicraft Center. Return to the hotel for a break. In late afternoon, you will join in another seat-in-coach night tour of Taipei visiting Lungshan Temple Hwahsi Night Market and Taipei 101 Building (entrance to the observation deck not included), one of the highest buildings in the world. You will also enjoy your Mongolia Barbecue Dinner tonight.

Day 4 (MON)  TAIPEI / SUN MOON LAKE  (B)
Today you will be picked up from hotel lobby, and will drive to Sun Moon Lake which is located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan. Tour will stop at the famous Wenwu Temple or Literature Warrior Temple dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, peacock garden, Holy Monk Shrine and Tse-En Pagoda. After touring round Sun Moon Lake, proceed to hotel for check in, stay overnight at Sun Moon Lake.

Day 5 (TUE)  SUN MOON LAKE / FOGUANGSHAN MONASTERY / KAOHSIUNG  (B)
Breakfast at hotel, you will drive to Foguangshan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous and largest buddhist monastery in Taiwan and also one of the largest charity organizations in Taiwan. During the walking tour of the monastery, you will enjoy learning about Buddhism, visit the giant Buhhda Statue and have the opportunity to communicate with some monks and nuns. You may also enjouy the vegetarian meal for lunch at your own cost.. Continuue drive to Kaohsiung City, the second largest city in Taiwan. The tour will take you to former British Consulate, Love River and Lio Ho Night Market. Overnight at Kaohsiung.

Day 6 (WED)  KAOHSIUNG / KENTING / TAITUNG  (B)
Morning excursion takes you to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan’s southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline to view the impressive attractions. Stops will be made at Oluanpi light house, Maopitou coastal scenic area and Kenting forest recreation area. Continue drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. Overnight at Taitung, enjoy SPA & Hot Spring bath at hotel.

Day 7 (THU)  TAITUNG / EAST COAST NATIONAL SCENIC AREA / HUALIEN  (B)
After breakfast, you will take an exciting East Coast National Scenic Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as “Taiwan’s last unspoiled land”, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. The tour will stop at Siaoyeliou, Sansientai, Stone Steps, Caves of the Eight Immortals. In late afternoon, arrive in Hualien for overnight stay.

Day 8 (FRI)  HUALIEN / TAROKO GORGE / TAIPEI  (B)
After breakfast, you will spend a full day visiting Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by the Liwu river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock rewinding its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Stops will be made at Eternal Spring Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Tunnel of Nine Turns, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang and marble factory. Drive back to Taipei via Su-Hwa Highway and Hsuei-Shan Long Tunnel (12.9 Kms) with expected arrival at your hotel at around 7 PM.

Day 9 (SAT)  TAIPEI  (B)
Take a departure transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
